Bedfordshire and Luton Mental Health and Social Care Partnership (BLPT)
BLPT provides services to meet the mental health needs of a diverse population of around 600,000 people. The trust is committed to meeting the individual needs of its clients, who come from all walks of life, age groups and ethnic backgrounds.
BLPT sees the power of the written and spoken word as an important aspect of its work, and in November 2009
staff and service users
published a book of poems to raise money for the charity Children in Need. John is one of the Trust's keenest supporters, and has contributed both a specially written poem and a foreword to the book, which is entitled simply Poems for Children.
